Cous Cous salad

This is a wonderful dish for the summer, cool, refreshing and full of flavour, its really simple to do and not too expensive either, I practically lived off this when I was doing that Secondary education job.

Werther’s: NO!
I have always been a huge fan of Werther’s Original. Like enjoying Midsummer Murders, Diagnosis Murder (legendary Dick Van Dyke) or showering while singing the Sade, it’s nothing to really be proud about if you are under sixty years of age. I don’t even know why I like them so much, but I think it has a lot to do with the advert where the Grandad gives his Grandson a Werther’s and the Grandson’s eyes light up. Chilean-Style Sopaipillas Recipe

Here is the recipe for a mouth-watering traditional Chilean snack or appetizer that is usually munched during the rainy winter season with a steaming cup of tea. After walking down the streets of Santiago you can unwind in the evening with a couple of home-made Sopaipillas. Sopaipillas are fried rounds of pumpkins soaked in syrup. They make good breakfast as well. There are sold by street vendors too but nothing compares with the taste of homemade ones.
